Funeral services and visitations may be held within the funeral home, or in another location such as a church, chapel or lodge hall. Taking the time to reflect and visit with the family in this busy world we face has definite healing powers. After completion of the funeral service burial takes place in the ground or in a mausoleum vault.

Cremation – Honored by Time

Some families in the community are asking about and choosing cremation which is another time honored form of final disposition. Many options are available with cremation. A family may still select from all available services such as visitation with or without the person who has died present, and a service in the funeral home or other location, then followed by the cremation process in place of earth burial or entombment. A family may also decide to have a time of visitation and a memorial service without the body present. Cremation with no visitation or services is also available to families that the Pederson’s are privileged to serve.

After the cremation process is complete there are further ways to commemorate your loved one. Some families choose to bury the cremated remainsin a cemetery or keep them in a decorative urn. Others may scatter them in a place that has special meaning. Please feel free to ask about the many beautiful and appropriate commemorative possibilities involving the cremation process.
